Terms for using Because of You.
These terms describe the focused MVP. They need review by the owner’s lawyer before launch.
The service
Because of You lets an organizer buy one private digital keepsake, invite contributors, approve stories, and share a separate recipient reveal link.
Your responsibility
Only submit content you have the right and permission to share. Do not submit unlawful, abusive, threatening, deceptive, or privacy-invasive material. Organizers are responsible for reviewing what appears.
Payments
Each Ripple is a one-time purchase through Stripe Checkout. The selected package and total appear before payment. The service does not create a subscription.
Private links
Invitation and reveal links act as access credentials. Keep them private and share them only with intended people. Anyone holding a valid link may access the page it opens.
AI organization
AI may group and summarize approved stories. It must not invent source material. Organizers should review the generated experience before sharing it.
Deletion and availability
An organizer can permanently delete a Ripple. Deletion cannot be undone. Service availability may change for maintenance or circumstances outside reasonable control.
