Editorial policy

Useful before searchable. Honest before polished.

BecauseYou resources answer a real occasion question, then connect that answer to the product when the connection is useful. We do not publish pages only to capture a spelling variant or stretch one idea across dozens of URLs.

Why these resources exist

We publish practical help for people writing an important message or organizing a group tribute. A page should solve that immediate problem even if the reader never buys anything.

Sources and claims

We cite primary sources for research claims, platform behavior, statistics, and health or psychological claims. We do not add a citation to ordinary writing examples or explanations of our own product.

Examples

Unless a page states otherwise, message and tribute examples are original, synthetic examples written for that page. We do not present them as customer submissions. Public product examples are labelled fictional.

How AI may be used

AI may help organize a draft, check structure, or generate alternatives. A page is checked before publication for factual claims, source fit, duplicated intent, unsafe advice, privacy, and language that sounds generic or copied.

Updates and corrections

The updated date changes after a meaningful edit, not a deployment. If a fact or example needs correction, email us with the page URL and the exact passage.

Authorship

Resources use the byline 'BecauseYou Editorial Team.' This identifies the publishing function, not an invented expert, credential, or staff biography. We name a real specialist only when that person has actually reviewed the work.
